Personal Experience
J. Charles (“Chuck”) Ormond has been practicing law for over thirty years and his practice focuses primarily on civil and administrative litigation with emphasis in the areas of commercial, contract, employment, tort and environmental law. He received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in the top ten percent of his class and was inducted into the Order of Wig and Robe. Mr. Ormond began his legal career with the McNair Law Firm and then joined Constangy, Brooks and Smith where he practiced litigation, employment and environmental law. He has been a partner with Ormond | Dunn for the past nine years.
Prior to law school, Mr. Ormond was a professional geophysicist and worked in the petroleum and environmental industries for approximately six years in the state of Texas. He received his undergraduate degree (B.S.) in geology from Baylor University and received a M.S. in geophysics from Texas Tech and became a registered professional geologist in South Carolina in 1990.
